Getting hitched in 2014?

Happily Ever After

Every bride wants to look and feel her best for her wedding day. Start work on those problem areas today to get optimal results by your big day. You don’t want to say “I wish, I would’ve” right before you say ” I do”

The problem area: A not-so-nice-complexion

Everyone has skin imperfections: wrinkles, fine-lines, adult acne

The solution: OTC products or a visit to the Derm

You can find “miracle” products at every drug store, make-up counter, and website. Most products will work with proper usage and with time. Typically, results are seen about 10-12 weeks after you start to use the product. As for which product to use? Read reviews, ask around, and try.

If OTC doesn’t sound appealing or doesn’t produce the results you are seeking, contact a professional. A visit to a Medi-spa or Dermatologist might be the solution best for you. Prescription grade products and services are sure to produce results for you, but the cost might add up.

Time-frame for results: up to 12 weeks to start seeing results

It will vary so much on what you decide to do and how much damage there is to repair. Some medical procedures claim to produce results in as little as one visit, but optimal results usually take up to 12 weeks.

The problem: A little-too-much-to-love

You love dessert and gym, what gym? You are generally happy with yourself, but maybe want to tighten up or slim down a little bit. Overtime, you just haven’t made fitness a priority in your life.

The Solution: Diet and Exercise

Two dreaded words, most people don’t want to hear. There are many free or easy options to use to help fit into your gown a little better. Do a basic search for BMR online and start counting, calories that is. Then go for a walk, bike, or get to that gym. Love to dance? Try Zumba.

Time-frame for results: as little as 2 weeks

In as little as 2 weeks you can be a few lbs lighter- you will notice in the way your clothes fit. Want more results? Keep going. Healthy weight loss is about 2 lbs per week. The more you have to go, the longer your ideal results will come. Each week your progress will keep you motivated.

The problem: Not-so-pearly-whites

Love to drink coffee, red wine, and have questionable brushing habits? You are not alone.

The Solution: Whitening mouthwash, strips, or a visit to the Dentist.

Drug stores and big box retailers have quite the assortment of whitening products to choose from. From mouthwashes to strips- you have to explore your options and what’s best for you.

The dentist might have more clinical grade products that will yield quicker results. Although a little costly, this might be a safer option for you.

Timeline: 20 minutes to an hour

White-strip directions promise results in as little as 20 minutes. Dental offices offering procedures such as Zoom whitening can take an hour or more. Simple “Whitening” mouth washes can take up to 10 weeks to produce results.

The Problem: Crabby-Stressed-Tired

Wedding planning mode got you into a funk? No worries, you are not alone. You are making some big decisions and about to go through a major milestone in life.

The Solution: Some much needed Rest and Relaxation

Even if it’s just a few hours, take some you time. Catch up on your favorite reality TV show, get a massage, go shopping, have a cocktail. You need this.

Time frame for results: 1 Day – the day after your wedding

You might just need an afternoon, but wedding planning can be stressful. It might take until after the wedding until you start to feel completely normal again. Just make sure you have at least one day a week where you can do something completely selfish and just for you.
