Miss. B. Perfect-Affairs,
My daughter is planning a fall wedding. So far, so good- the planning has been a breeze. That is until now… I cannot find a dress to wear to her wedding. Everywhere I shop, all I see is “Grandma Dresses”. I am 51 years old and don’t want to dress like I am 71. What are some options for me. I want to look nice, feel great, and most importantly- not look like a “Grandma”
Searching for the perfect “Mother-of” dress can be tough. Have you considered a more upscale and sophisticated maids style? There are literally hundreds to choose from, and you can order in a multitude of colors. Not to mention, many times they are less expensive than your typical “Grandma Dress”. I would encourage you to shop the store your daughter purchased her dresses at. The staff will know the style of the wedding and will be able to help to select the perfect attire to complement the rest of the party. Be sure to shop soon though, as many dresses can take up to 12 weeks for delivery. Congratulations and best of luck.
